Outside of his law practice, William J. Berman, has a passion for horses. His experience started when he was ten years old as a member of the Junior Essex Troop in West Orange, New Jersey. Bill is an equestrian enthusiast who holds memberships in the United States Equestrian Team and the United States Equestrian Federation. Having ridden, competed and owned horses for over forty years, Bill brings his outside interest into the Firm’s practice of law. Bill has represented many Olympic riders, horse owners, trainers, horse shows and horse show management throughout his career. He has been involved in USEF administrative hearings representing Olympic riders, horse owners, amateur riders and horse show management. When necessary, Bill prosecutes and defends equine claims in litigation in all New Jersey State and Federal Courts.
